We are proud to offer Yoga, Pilates, and Zumba classes in the serene and picturesque setting of the James River Country Club. Nestled along the tranquil banks of the James River, this beautiful location provides the perfect environment for relaxation, rejuvenation, and self-discovery.

Our yoga sessions are designed to help participants find balance and inner peace, while Pilates classes focus on building core strength, improving posture, and enhancing overall physical alignment. For those seeking a high-energy, engaging workout, our Zumba classes combine fun, rhythmic movements with cardiovascular fitness, creating an experience that revitalizes both the body and spirit.

By combining expert-led classes with the natural beauty of the James River, we offer an unmatched opportunity for personal growth and physical well-being right here in our community. Weekly Fitness and Wellness Schedule

 

Tuesday: Fusion Fitness (60 Minutes)

Join us for an energizing class that blends Pilates, Yoga, and Zumba into a seamless workout experience. Love to dance? This class is for you! As we age, building strength and flexibility becomes essential, which is why we incorporate squats, light weights, and a Pilates-inspired cooldown. It’s like physical therapy for your whole body, leaving you feeling stronger, balanced, and revitalized.

Wednesday: Zumba & Stretch (9:30 AM)
Start your morning with Zumba led by Angela, followed by light weights and yoga-inspired stretches. This class is ideal for retirees looking to gain strength, improve fitness, lose weight, and enhance their breathing—all while enjoying a fun, supportive environment.

Friday: Aqua Zumba (10:30 AM)
Perfect for those with knee concerns, Aqua Zumba offers a low-impact, high-fun workout in the water and under the summer sun. Held at the James River Country Club, it’s a great way to stay active while socializing with friends in a refreshing setting. This class is held during the summer and is free for JRCC Members.

Saturday: Yoga by the Water (8:30 AM)
Set aside time for yourself with our Saturday Yoga class—a commitment to your health and well-being. This session is designed to strengthen your body, calm your mind, and inspire your spirit. Many women dedicate themselves to family first, but this class reminds you to prioritize your health. During warmer weather, enjoy yoga on the pier by the water; in cooler months, join us in the gym at the James River Country Club.
